Windows and doors in Temecula, CA

52 minutes from our Arlington Avenue shop in Riverside, in Riverside County, so we schedule this area in batches.

What we see in Temecula

Every city on this list asks something different of a window job. Here is what changes the work in this one.

The housing

Temecula is the newest city we serve, the median home was built in 1998, and much of Redhawk, Morgan Hill and Harveston is newer still. Original single glazing is rare here. What we mostly see instead is first-generation dual-pane that has reached the end of its service life, along with a steady demand for patio and multi-slide door upgrades in houses that were built with the indoor-outdoor layout in mind. Owner-occupancy is high at around 68 percent.

Permits

Permits are handled by the City of Temecula Building and Safety Division. Standard California residential requirements apply, including Title 24 energy compliance on replacement fenestration. Temecula is a fifty-minute drive from our Riverside shop, so we schedule this area in batches rather than same-week, worth knowing when you are planning around it.

Associations and review

Temecula is the most association-dense city on our list. Harveston, Paloma del Sol, Redhawk and Wolf Creek all have active architectural committees, and approval is a real step in the schedule rather than a formality. We provide the specification documentation up front.

What a job costs in Temecula

We do not publish a price list, because a multi-slide patio door in a Harveston house and a set of failed first-generation dual-pane units in Vail Ranch are different jobs with different numbers behind them. Our cost pages explain what actually moves the price, and the free in-home measure is where your own house gets a real one.

We measure every opening, tell you what is worth doing first, and leave you a written number. No obligation.
