What we do with your information

The short version

We collect what you type into our forms so we can quote your job. We use it to contact you about that job. We do not use it for anything else, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by calling or emailing.

What we collect, and when

Only what you hand us. Nothing on this site tries to identify you before you fill in a form.

• The estimate form: what kind of work you need, roughly how many openings, what is installed now, your timeline, whether you own the home, your ZIP code, your first name, phone number, email address and preferred time to be reached.
• The contact form: your name, phone number, email address and your message.
• If you call or email us directly: whatever you tell us, plus your number or address, so we can call you back.

We do not ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth, or any payment or banking detail through this website, and you should not send one. If you apply for financing, that happens separately and the lender explains its own terms and its own privacy handling.

What we use it for

• Calling or texting you back to confirm the details and arrange a visit.
• Measuring, quoting and, if you go ahead, scheduling and doing the work.
• Filing permit paperwork on your job, where that applies.
• Keeping our own records of the jobs we have quoted and done.

That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use what you send us to target you with ads elsewhere.

The call and text consent box

Both forms ask you to tick a box saying we can call or text you about your estimate. It is not pre-ticked and we will not tick it for you, that permission has to be yours to give.

Ticking it means you are agreeing that we may call and send text messages to the number you gave us, about your estimate and your job. It is not a condition of buying anything. Your phone carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.

To stop the texts, reply STOP to any message from us, or just tell us on the phone. To stop the calls, say so once and we will note it. Either way you can still email us, and it does not affect a quote you have already asked for.

Who else sees it

The forms on this site post to a third-party form-delivery service, which passes the submission on to our email. That service, our email provider and our web host all handle the data in the ordinary course of delivering it to us. We share your details with a supplier or an installer only where it is needed to do or bill your job.

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade or pass it to lead-resale networks or to other contractors.

We will also hand it over where the law requires us to. That is rare, and it is the only other case.

Cookies, analytics and what the site records

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers.

The estimate form saves your answers in your own browser as you go, using session storage, so a refresh or a mis-tapped back button does not wipe what you have typed. That copy never leaves your device and your browser discards it when you close the tab. It does not include the consent box, which you tick fresh every time.

Like any website, ours is served by a host that keeps standard request logs. If we add a web analytics tool, it will be one that counts page views and referrers in aggregate rather than following individuals around the internet, and we will name it on this page when we do.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we might reasonably need them, to follow up, to stand behind work we have done, and to satisfy our own tax and business records. If you would rather we did not, ask us and we will delete what we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw call and text consent at any time. California's privacy law does not apply to every small business, but we will honor these requests whether or not it applies to us. Ask by phone or email and we will confirm what we did.

Children

This site is for homeowners arranging work on a house. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes to this notice

If we change how any of this works, we change this page and update the date at the top. We do not keep a hidden older version in force.
